SAS YOU ASSIST is a charity organisation whose projects focus on helping children to have a better life. Aid efforts take place all over the world. We collaborate with other aid organisations in Sweden and abroad. An important part of our business is to support children, and above all girls, so that they can go to school and become self-sufficient.

MAKIMEI CHILDREN'S HOME
Happy news from the heartwarming orphanage project we support in Nairobi Kenya: Makimei Vänner Norden, which sponsors a large part of the operation of the orphanage, managed to bring in another generous sponsor who guarantees that the construction of the new orphanage building can be completed. Combined with the donation from SAS YOU ASSIST, the building has now taken a major step forward. The first two stories are finished and now they are starting with the third floor. Not so long ago, constructing their own building was just a dream for Makimei.
WATTS On – SOLAR LIGHT PROJECT
The project was started by the ECONIC EARTH Foundation and founder Nicole Watson. The Watts-On project distributes solar energy lamps to schools and students living in the countryside outside the national electricity network. This seemingly simple change of having access to LIGHT has the potential to change a child's life. It allows the children to do their homework when they get home and it also increases security when the children walk home in the dark. The plan for 2025 is to expand the project to Zambia and Cambodia as SAS YOU ASSIST will co-sponsor the project.
CHAITANYA MAHILA MANDALI
Many years ago we visited an NGO in southern India that worked to develop isolated rural villages. We found the project serious and decided to support their endeavor to spread information about children's right to education, girls' rights, women's ability to support themselves, basic hygiene, etc. Recently a new request came for a grant for the purchase of 20 wheelchairs for children in several villages. This would enable the children to get to school more easily and to sometimes be able to participate in village activities without the help of others. We decided to support the project and we have received pictures, a detailed report and BIG thanks for the help.
